Return to Table of Contents Las Brujas (the Witches) in Seville Legends tell that the witches in Seville come out on the full moon to battle for power.  While some claim having seen this event, most claim to see fireballs passing through the night sky as the witches battle. The witch that loses the battle will fall from the sky in a ball of flame. There are other "Las Brujas" tales where similar conflicts take place in areas where witches live.
